What is this

A container for things that don’t fit anywhere else.

Pickles as a concept. Preservation. Things that age better in brine. Visual work that resists categorization. Design that starts conversations before it starts conversions.

This is a studio archive. An honest record of experiments. Some will become something. Most won’t. All of them are real.

The Pickles Archive is an ongoing series of pages, experiments, and documents that come out of Pickles Design. Some are client-adjacent. Some are purely self-indulgent. All of them are trying to figure something out.

Issue 001 is the beginning. It doesn’t explain everything. It’s not supposed to. If you’re still reading this, you already understand more than most.
