Sol-In did not begin with a product idea.
It began with a question: how is it possible that buildings equipped with sensors, BMS systems, and energy dashboards still have so little visibility into what is actually happening inside them – floor by floor, zone by zone, minute by minute? That question revealed a simple truth: most buildings can monitor, report, and sometimes even react, but they still do not truly understand themselves.
Sol-In was founded to solve that gap.
Across commercial buildings, HVAC systems often continue to run on fixed schedules, regardless of occupancy, indoor air quality, or actual operational need. Not because the technology to do better doesn’t exist, but because too many systems were never built to connect measurement, intelligence, control, and proof into one clear operating model. Sol-In was built to change that.
At the heart of Sol-In is a simple conviction: a building that cannot see itself cannot improve itself.

Lior Dinar
Co-Founder & CEO
Lior Dinar is Co-Founder and CEO of Sol-In Technologies. He holds an M.A. in Marketing and International Entrepreneurship from Ben-Gurion University. Before founding Sol-In, he worked across real estate, PropTech, digital media, and other large-scale operational environments, where he repeatedly saw buildings absorb major energy costs without a reliable way to measure, manage, or prove what was being saved. That experience shaped his conviction that the real gap in the market was not awareness, but the absence of a model that turns operational change into measurable, undeniable results.
Nimrod Erez
Co-Founder and CTO
Nimrod Erez brings broad experience in production management, product development, NPI, process optimization, equipment management, and industrial systems. His background spans traditional industry, high-tech environments, and startup ecosystems. At Sol-In, he helped shape the system around one core principle: building performance must be measured, controlled, and verified as one continuous loop. He focuses on making sure the technology works as an integrated operational system, where every action is grounded in data and every result can be proven.
Itzik Baabur
Co-Founder & COO
Itzik Baabur studied Economics, Sociology, and Industrial Management Engineering at Bar-Ilan University and brings more than 30 years of operational experience across production, customer portfolio management, and development projects. His role at Sol-In is to make sure what works in strategy and product design also works on site, in real buildings and under real operating conditions. He brings the discipline of execution to the company, turning deployment speed, reliability, and operational consistency into a practical standard rather than a marketing promise.
Offer Einav
Co-Founder & Business Development | ECO-IN
Offer Einav brings extensive experience in homeland and aviation security, risk management, business continuity, and complex multi-stakeholder environments. Over the past 30 years, he has worked through consulting firms that executed and managed projects across Europe, India, and the Middle East. At ECO-IN Israel (Sol-In partnership), he brings a strong understanding of how organizations make decisions under pressure – especially in environments where building owners, operators, facility teams, sustainability leaders, finance, and procurement all need alignment. His role is to help build partnerships and deal structures that can move through that complexity and hold up in practice.

Prof. Asaf Zohar
Associate Professor · Sustainability Studies
Prof. Asaf Zohar holds a Ph.D. from York University, as well as an M.E.S. and a B.A. He is an Associate Professor at Trent University in Toronto and Chair of the Master’s in Sustainability Studies Program. At Sol-In, he helps keep the sustainability logic rigorous, ensuring that climate and performance claims are backed by methodology that can stand up to real academic and professional scrutiny.
Hezi Erez
Electrical & Computer Engineering (Technion) · Cybersecurity Architecture
Hezi Erez holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He brings the engineering discipline behind Sol-In’s integration and cybersecurity architecture, with a focus on data protection, breach prevention, and privacy by design. His role helps ensure that when Sol-In connects to existing infrastructure, it does so safely, reliably, and without compromise.
Dr. Irit Talmor
Operations Research · Decision Systems
Dr. Irit Talmor holds a Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. She is an expert in applying Operations Research to improve decision-making across a range of sectors. At Sol-In, she helps ensure that the optimization and control logic behind the platform is grounded in applied operational science rather than intuition alone.
Ayalon Svirsky
HVAC Engineer
Ayalon Svirsky brings the physical HVAC expertise that helps translate Sol-In’s intelligence into real-world building behavior. His role is to make sure that system recommendations align with how HVAC equipment actually performs in practice – because meaningful optimization starts with understanding the building at a physical level.
